Key Accountabilities:

‘The Job’

We recently successfully launched a new way of searching for commercial agreements on our website. By answering a set of relevant questions, a customer can find the most suitable commercial agreement for the product/service they need. You will be instrumental in helping to make sure they can easily understand the questions they are being asked to achieve an appropriate outcome.

You will work with colleagues across the business to understand their specific commercial agreement and represent it accurately and clearly

You may also work on smaller tasks across the overall change programme from time to time.

Core accountabilities/deliverables and ownership include:

  • Responsible for content needed for the programme
  • Working with colleagues to advising colleagues on content best practice, style and tone
  • Creating content that is clear, engaging and meets user needs
  • Communicate with stakeholders across the business

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working for GOV.UK or on a GOV.UK site
  • Understanding of service design
  • Experience designing content to meet user needs, making complex language simple, while maintaining meaning
  • Understanding and implement house style and standards using templates
  • Communicating with and maintaining stakeholder relationships, particularly with contributors to the project and advising colleagues to help them create engaging and clear content for our customers
  • Understand, or quickly develop an understanding of, Crown Commercial Service (CCS)
  • Be comfortable with day-to-day creative problem solving as well as administrative tasks
