Remote Working (with 1 or 2 trips per month to offices in Northern Ireland, expenses paid)

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus annual profit share bonus

Are you a designer and/or developer who can prototype, and build front-end solutions that customers will find easy and rewarding to use?

Do you have expertise in Javascript, HTML and CSS as well as knowledge of frameworks such as Vue or React?

You will need great communication skills and the ability to specify, design and layout user interfaces taking input from your colleagues, customers and best-practice in the industry. Knowledge of and an interest in UX principles and techniques will also be essential.

Are you a Front-End Web Developers who is motivated to combine the art of design with great programming?

Your responsibilities will include the development of UI/UX design wireframes and their conversion to actual code that will create the visual elements of the application. You will work with a team of developers and bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application works as well as how it looks.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new user-facing features.

Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

Convert UI/UX requirements into appropriate technical solutions.

Optimise the application for ease of use, speed and scalability.

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Skills And Qualifications

An eye for layout and design with a keen interest In UX and Front-End development.

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML, CSS and server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.

Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.

Experience of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue.JS etc.

Detailed understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX.

Experience of image authoring and editing tools, such as Photoshop.

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
