Our client a major global financial services company are seeking a Junior to Mid Level Quality Assurance Engineer to join a brand new division of the business in a team they are building currently in their London office.
Your primary proven engineering experience will be in an environment using Java with Springboot, React, REST & graphql. Experience of Kafka, Docker & Kubernetes is also beneficial.
We are ideally looking for those with experience with the following;
- Significant experience in testing Enterprise multi-tiered commercial application
- Proven experience with ATDD using Selenium, Cucumber, Java, JavaScript along with experience with tools such as WebDriver and JMeter is desirable
- Strong programming knowledge in JAVA & JEE including Hibernate, spring, Junit, mocking (JMock/Mokito), REST, and Groovy along with JMS, WMQ, and AJAX is highly desirable.
- Experience with a scripting language such as Perl, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience in testing of API, UNIT testing using JUnit & TestNG
- Ability to troubleshoot and isolate problems to aid developers in resolving issues
- Proficient knowledge in QA methodologies and bug reporting
- Knowledge in tools such as Git, BitBucket, Jenkin or Bamboo, JIRA, Stash, zephyr etc.
- Experience with SaaS and PaaS application environments
- Experience with Agile projects
