Duration : Initial contract period of 6 months is anticipated, and extension likely
Clearance : DV clearance + Sole British National
NATIONAL SECURITY CLEARANCE must be active and transferable.
Clearance remains valid providing the following criteria are met:
1. Security clearances must not be more than 10 years old or 7 years for DV; and it must have more than a year remaining before expiry – ideally 18 months
2. Candidate has taken up post within 6 months of the clearance being granted.
3. The individual must have worked on a government contract or for a government department/Police Force in a role requiring NSV clearance within the last 12 months;
4. The individual must not have resided overseas for more than 6 months during the break in service between government contracts.

5. Candidate must only hold a UK/British passport. No dual nationality. If not born here they must hold the right level of clearance specified above and have renounced any rights to previous citizenships.
Service Delivery Manager to work as part of a wider CIS team of 20 people supporting the hosting infrastructure at the JEWOSC in RAF Waddington. Work is full-time on client site. New contract recently awarded and now in mobilisation phase, with role commencement ideally by 1st February 2023.
This is a key and influential role helping to deliver a number of operational systems that provide Electronic Warfare data to the British armed forces.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Liaise with senior customers to manage and deliver contractual obligations (such as break fix contract and license management).
• Provide an escalation point for customers and end users with regard to service and contractual concerns.
• Generate and deliver service reports utilising a variety of common applications e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Provide effective budget management within the constraints of a project / contract.
Required skills for this role:
• Suitable qualifications in IT Service Delivery, minimum ITIL Foundation level
• Suitable qualifications in Project Management, Agile and/or Waterfall (APMP, Prince2, SAFe etc)
• experience in the use of IT service management principles.
• experience in the use of asset and configuration management processes and principles.
• Ability to analyse current processes to identify and advise on opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
• experience of project management principles (agile and waterfall).
• understanding of service management principles.
• Able to generate and deliver service reports utilising a variety of common applications e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Reasonable understanding of current IT service management tools e.g. BMC, Helix, and ITSM.
• Understanding of core technical concepts and ability to apply them.
