Fixed Term Contract: 23 Months+


We are currently recruiting for a Web Ops Delivery Manager to enable the delivery of BAU website changes and effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of A/B and multivariate testing

  • Identify improvements to the online channels which add tangible benefits to the customer experience to feed into the backlog
  • Schedule and lead regular workshops as required for backlog ideation and definition
  • Attend/member of the Delivery Working Group
  • Responsible for appropriate stakeholder engagement across the partnership to prioritise activities.
  • Work closely with other members of the Retail experience team to ensure that, where possible, the future view on digital experience is reflected in the current state
  • Work closely with Brand and key stakeholders to incorporate brand visual identity into deliverables
  • Ensure that changes are aligned with the customer experience best practice, priorities and KPIs.

Ensure the backlog of work for the Delivery Team is in good order.

  • Ensure the backlog balances the needs/requirements of accessibility standards, editorial standards, design guidelines and sales, marketing and other business requirements
  • Define stories in the backlog which clearly articulate the task, the problem being addressed, along with definition of the functional requirements for all members of delivery team via acceptance criteria
  • Maintain the mechanism/tool for the backlog e.g. Jira, ensuring its being used and updated correctly
  • Be responsible for the cadence of delivery with an eye to continuously improving the delivery pace whilst maintaining team motivation

Essential experience

  • Experience in a digital content management and coordination role
  • Demonstrable, hands on experience of Agile methodologies and tools
  • Experience managing stakeholders with competing agendas, at various
  • levels of seniority
  • Experience of multivariate/A/B testing approaches
  • Effective communicator with the ability to constructively challenge others

Essential skills

  • Demonstrable ability to use insight to inform decision making and evaluate outcomes
  • A broad knowledge of web technology, development, testing and deployment mechanisms.
  • Understanding of UX concepts, techniques and principles including designing for accessibility and SEO
  • Effective communicator with the ability to constructively challenge others

Desirable experience and qualifications

  • Experience of working in a regulated industry
  • Experience of working in an outsourced environment
  • Agile qualification
