1988
P.S was founded by Tony Parker and Christopher Shaw using their surname initials to give the business its name. Started from a dining room table in Tony’s house.
1989
Appointed preferred supplier to Hewlett Packard (previously Digital Equipment, then Compaq).
1992
Commenced supply to Crown Agents.
1994
Became preferred supplier to ICL, now Fujitsu, at their Bracknell HQ and across the UK.
2006
Opened new Recruitment & Resourcing Centre in Southampton.
2008
Appointed as preferred supplier to Manpower UK (now Experis) to support several of their large enterprise customers.
2011
Attained Investor in People certification.
2012
Commenced delivery of fully outsourced 3rd Line Support facility for NHS Trusts.
2015
Appointed supplier to UK Govt (Crown Commercial Services).
2015
Appointed as preferred supplier to American Express in London & Brighton.
2016
Appointed preferred supplier to MPhasis UK Ltd (global technology firm providing integrated cloud and cognitive technology).
2017
Awarded supplier status with Capita.
2017
Appointed preferred supplier to Veritas Inc (global data protection, business continuity, storage & information governance provider).
2017
PS becomes Parker Shaw.
2018
Appointed preferred supplier to Microfocus in UK & Europe.
2019
Appointed new MD at Parker Shaw, Paul Booth.
2020
Named as second tier supplier for DXC Technology.
2020
Preferred supplier status renewed with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the only UK agency to have maintained a constant & consistent suppliership for over 30 years.
2020
Confirmed as supplier of Contract and/or Permanent IT staff to several Local Councils including Hampshire County Council, Kent County Council.
2021
Throughout the pandemic and lock downs we remained strong supporting our clients and staff.
