Architecture Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Architecture Analyst to contribute to the delivery of complex analytics projects and assist in the maintenance and development of the organisation’s analytical capability.

You will:

• Support Senior Analysts in the delivery of complex analysis, analysis solutions, BI, and statistical publications
• Deliver analytical products to internal stakeholders with minimal supervision.
• Use a range of programming languages to manipulate large, complex and unstructured datasets, and produce robust statistical and econometric models.
• Communicate findings with key stakeholders throughout the business.
• Provide quality checking and additional analytical support for high profile analytical projects including official statistics publications.
• Develop Apprentice and Intern Analysts through specifying and overseeing discrete work packages, aligned with the current stage in their development plan
• Contribute to the programme management and ongoing professionalism of the team as a hub of expert analysis and ensure the team and the wider organisation is up to date with latest developments.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM or similar quantitative subject, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working in an analytical function, ideally supporting risk or policy functions.
• Working knowledge of statistical and analytical software, including one of R, SQL, and SAS, and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools)
• Working knowledge of bivariate / multivariate statistical modelling, time series analysis, and forecasting.

Desirable:

• Working knowledge of key SME domains: pension landscape / scheme funding / Automatic Enrolment / scheme governance / pensions market.
• Working knowledge and prior application of the UK Code for Official Statistics, and implementation of robust standards and quality assurance procedures in analytics.
