Automation Developer – Security Cleared (SC)

Candidate MUST hold current and transferable Security Clearance (SC)

We are currently recruiting for an SC Cleared Automation Developer to undertake several client projects to drive efficiencies and provide improved IT services, particularly around Service Management and other ITIL functions.

You are a disciplined and skilled Technical Consultant with solid experience in software configuration and integration. You will work as part of a small agile team to design, develop and deploy automation flows based on specific customer requirements. You will also help establish the client’s Automation capability by providing coaching and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing manually executed processes, providing feedback and input to make a business process ‘better’, not exclusively through a technical solution
• Design of integrations and automations to meet customer specific requirements
• Authoring Design Documentation
• Developing robust, secure, and efficient automation solutions in RPA/OO Toolset
• Working with Stakeholders at all levels of the business, including Security Architects, Business Process Owners, Product Owners, and Technical Experts
• Testing and early life support of automation solutions
• Investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of automation flow failures
• Working closely with other project and service management teams to deliver and maintain automation solutions
• Working with a growing team of developers, providing peer reviews, knowledge sharing and coaching for client staff
• Supporting the development of the client’s Automation As A Service capability

Skills:

• Experience of implementing and integrating process automation solutions
• Fundamental logical/programming skills including looping, if/else statements, exception handling
• Experience working with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), both REST and SOAP
• Knowledge of RDMS and SQL (MSSQL, ORACLE and Postgres) will be a plus.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Python would be very beneficial
• Knowledge of the Micro Focus Service Manager (SM) platform will be very beneficial
• Experience of working with personnel in multi customer environments is highly desired.
