Azure Integration Developer

We are currently recruiting for an Azure Integration Developer to operate within an exciting and dynamic company-wide technology change programme, which will see the development and delivery of new systems enabling us to support regulatory activity in the business. This role is key to the delivery of tactical and strategic IT projects for the business.

You will:

• Successfully deliver technical solutions to support the business. Work across all stages and iterations of software development. Assist other developers to plan, estimate, design, implement and test software applications.
• Use good problem solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Help drive the development and application of coding standards, development processes and security. Mentor others in their use. Review and feedback on work from colleagues to achieve a high standard of code.
• Embrace the organization’s use of Lean/Agile methodologies.
• Maintain a keen technical awareness; continuously learning and developing own skills. Identify, research and recommend tooling for development. Contribute to the developer community by sharing experience and knowledge and updating documentation.
• Effective engagement with stakeholders on projects and support issues.

Essential skills

• Excellent knowledge of C# and .Net framework
• Experience of Web technologies (e.g. JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC)
• Knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Azure Service Bus
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Excellent understanding of Object Orientated Design, SOLID principles and Design Patterns
• Excellent understanding of relational databases and SQL Server in particular
• Experience building restful APIs/WCF

Desirable skills

• Experience of working with Azure integrations.
• Experience from a Dynamics 365 perspective of some of the following: configuration, security, workflows, plug-ins, custom workflow steps, power apps.
• A development background from a .NET/ C# or Dynamics CRM/ Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
• Experience or training with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies is a plus
• Knowledge of Government development standards
