Our client is looking for 3 Cloud Operations Engineers. As part of the Cloud Operations Team, you are responsible for delivering support and BAU operational tasks across a wide range of technologies, primarily, but not limited to Microsoft Cloud technologies.
Whist primarily a MS Cloud technologies role, you should have a proven track record of working with
a range of Microsoft technologies, both Cloud and on-prem in large, Enterprise environments with
awareness of the ITIL framework.
Key Responsibilities
? Primarily to progress 3rd line support, service requests and BAU tasks to defined
timescales.
? To communicate effectively with 2nd line support personal, key stakeholders, peers,
and users, whilst working to defined SLA’s.
? Create and peer review high quality technical and process documentation, as required
for, but not limited to:
o Change Control
o Technical design authority
o Transition, project handover, BAU documentation i.e. OAT etc.
o Architectural Schematics
? Provide support and guidance to other members of the team
? Liaise with suppliers for technical specifications and customer departments for input
to issue resolution.
? To follow all HCC IT governance procedures and processes
Key Skills
? Advanced SharePoint online
? Advanced Power Platform - PowerApps, Power Bi, Flow and Logic Apps
? Advanced Office 365 Deployment and Management
? Comfortable with advanced PowerShell scripting
? Comfortable with advanced Azure concepts
? Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related technologies: -
o Azure (AAD) Directory Sync and Federated Services
o AD DS
o Group Policy
o At least a basic knowledge of Certificate Services
? Azure Devops
? Exchange Online
? Teams and Skype for Business
? Microsoft Intune
? Windows 10 Intune managed deployments
? Hybrid Mail Scenarios
? MS Windows Azure VM’s and Backup
Our client is based in Winchester City Centre a 10 minute walk from the train station. They are currently
home based but you may be asked to work on site.
