Data Quality Analyst

12 Month FTC

We are currently recruiting for a Data Quality Analyst to join an expanding team with an expanding reach. You will support management of data quality throughout the data lifecycle, to ensure good quality content, quality data processes and the quality datasets requirement to provide the best foundations for the growing demands of the business, including analysis, data science, and process automation.

You will contribute towards a broad function remit, which includes data quality management, data design, validation and verification controls, data standards, reference data management and master data management (MDM).

The role will provide support for route cause analysis, and you will be responsible for data quality issue management, including the definition of business rules to assess and measure data against business expectation.

As a data analyst you will be able to present the facts and suggest improvements to business and data processes. You will be an advocate for data across the business, utilizing your excellent stakeholder management skills to liaise with data owners, business subject matter experts, and data consumers to continuously ensure data is fit for purpose.

Skills:

Essential

• Proven experience of data management, service management and analysis

• Ability to infer, record, manage and communicate issues with core stakeholders

• Interpret and summarise data analysis

• Demonstrable knowledge of analytical toolsets

• Ability to work with people across multiple work-streams, technical and non-technical

• Experience of GDPR/Freedom of Information principles

Desirable

• Experience of Power BI, data visualization

• Experience of working with SQL Server (2005 to 2017)

• Working knowledge of DevOps

• Knowledge of process mapping and data mapping

• Understanding of data lineage
