Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Deskside Support with experience in handling banking & finance domain customer and trading floor support experience. You should at least have 2-3 years of experience in building laptops and desktops using Microsoft Intune/ Autopilot environment.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktop/laptop issues (both hardware/ software)
  • Install Standard SOE Image on Desktops and Laptops through Auto pilot (Intune)
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot standard applications (MS office, Adobe, etc.)
  • Configure and troubleshoot Smart phones issues
  • Provide assistance to remote server team on Server OS and server hardware
  • Server hardware racking and stacking (optional)
  • Basic troubleshooting of Data network/ Telephony devices/ Projectors/ Meeting room facilitation.
  • Basic troubleshooting of LAN/ WAN/ Backup-restore/Printers
  • Provide technical assistance and training to end users on computer operating systems and Standard applications.
  • Instruct and assist end users in the use of computer equipment, software, and accessories.
  • Ability to Evaluate and test new technology for feasibility and implementation within IT Environment.
  • Document all support activity within the IT Incident and request Management tracking tool.
  • Coordinate efforts with 3rd party vendors to repair faulty hardware.
  • Customer escalation handling
  • Physical move of asset between IT stock location.
  • Provide remote support for users across locations. (Home based users)

  • ITIL processes knowledge
  • Trading floor office IT support experience
  • Willingness to Sync with Offshore teams to discuss and work on different issues.

Essential Technical Skills

  • Windows 10 client OS
  • Auto pilot (Intune) device management
  • Hardware VPN expertise (Cisco Meraki)
  • Microsoft surface book hardware/ driver troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Dynamic 365 & ServiceNow based ITSM & Asset management experience.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in Data Centre Operations and good knowledge in Networking concepts
  • Software and Application Troubleshooting
  • Bloomberg terminal installation and troubleshooting
