DevOps Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment for a set of financial analytics applications; and configure on-premises hardware and deploy the applications and databases into it, as well as implement system monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Work experience with configuration of on-premises hardware
• Setup configuration repository for storing application configuration and secrets
• Setup Windows Virtual Machines
• Setup network interfaces and firewall
• Setup Security Patching of windows servers
• Setup Monitoring of the system resources (CPU, disk space etc)
• Setup Windows Fileserver
• Setup MSSQL database
• Setup MySQL database
• Setup Postgres database
• Setup application startup either as services or Docker container (Python applications, Java applications)
• Setup data replication between virtual machines
• Setup backup/restore for databases and network shared folders
• Setup CI/CD in Jenkins (may be in Concourse CI, GitLab Pipelines)
• Setup static code scanning in Sonar, Veracode, Twistlock
• Analytics Platform Product Management – REPS SIP Requirements Document

Skills:

• Combinations Required: DevOps + Java / DevOps + Python / DevOps + MSSQL skills
• Work experience with configuration of on-premises hardware
• Experience in configuration of MS Windows Virtual Machines
• Experience in configuration of MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres databases (including cluster setup)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience in setting up I/CD in Jenkins (may be in Concourse CI, GitLab Pipelines)
