Integration Architect

Technical

- Define the architecture approach for the digital transformation and create the supporting framework of SOA/integration principles, policies, standards, patterns, templates, and governance of projects during design. - Defining enterprise integration strategies and the hybrid reference architecture, including cloud integration to Azure - Production of service architectures including service decomposition and service/API designs.- Help to deliver digital transformation projects by providing leadership, facilitation, analysis and design related expertise – ensuring the delivery of SOA, Integration, BPM and API projects.- Lead the governance process to ensure the projects use and create re-usable assets for the enterprise where appropriate.- Deliver the API strategy- Proactively apply HMG IA technical security controls according to ISO 27001 & the Security Policy Framework (SPF)

Technical Skills and Experience

Essential

- Extensive experience of defining and delivering Enterprise Integration Architectures, including API, Data Services, SOA, BPM, Microservices and Event Driven Architecture for large organisation- Have developed, socialized and driven the implementation of integration strategies by developing integration roadmap, policies, design patterns, API standards and vision along with transition states to move from current to target architecture- Designed and implemented solutions in complex and challenging environments for large multinationals as part of their digital transformation.- Experience with Cloud based architectures and services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).- Experience of cloud and hybrid integration and how it can be leveraged to enable scalable and elastic integration capabilities.- Excellent understanding of all aspects of a successful architecture, including usability, scalability, maintainability, deliverability, security and compliance.

Desirable
