M62 Corridor - (Nort West ) only need to come to Southampton as and when so no more than once a month after initial training (ie Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, Liverpool , Huddersfield)
Basic salary £40K - £45K OTE expected to be an extra £20 – 25K Car – up to series 3 BMW
REPORTING TO | Sales Manager HOURS | 37.5 hours per week
Our client a major technology company are looking for a New Business Developer to seek out new business opportunities and deliver new customer wins within the Petrol Forecourt and Convenience market. Maintaining existing customer relationships in sales territory to drive high levels of customer engagement and further future sales opportunities. Building internal relationship, ensuring a team mentality is at the forefront within the sales department and the wider business, the role will be working in the North West (M62 Corridor, with occasional travel as and when to their Southampton office)
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Seek out new business opportunities within defined guidelines and timescales
• Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities to underpin target achievement
• Ensure that all pipeline activity is accurately recorded and updated within CRM
• Thoroughly research and understand individual market sectors to identify potential customer targets
• Accurately forecast sales by month and quarter
• Demonstrate product and services suite clearly and differentiate our offering with in the market
• Successfully position solutions within the context appropriate to the specific client or sector, utilising Value Based arguments and Consultative Sales engagement
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms as required and in line with company guidelines
• Ensure all customers receive a professional handover between Sales and Service/Support
• Continually development of your knowledge and skills to ensure they remain current and relevant • Promote a professional image at all times
•Ensure completion of all required Sales documentation and adherence to all Sales processes
• Demonstrate effective and collaborative use of all available resources
• Understands the value of developing leads and contacts thru cold calling when necessary
