Project Manager Insurance - Open GI systems

We are looking for a Project Manager with expertise in the Insurance domain, particularly in utilizing Open GI systems and IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects within the insurance industry, ensuring timely delivery, and effective communication with stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of Open GI platforms and ITSM processes to drive projects forward efficiently.

You are Responsible for:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, and resource requirements.

- Execute projects using industry best practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

2. Open GI Integration:

- Leverage in-depth knowledge of Open GI systems to implement and oversee integration projects.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Open GI solutions within the existing infrastructure.

3. IT Service Management (ITSM):

- Implement and maintain ITSM processes to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes, ensuring adherence to ITIL standards.

4. Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing concerns promptly.

- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and ensure project outcomes align with organizational needs.

5. Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to minimize disruptions.

- Implement risk management strategies to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction.

6. Resource Management:

- Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of team members.

- Collaborate with HR and department managers to build project teams with the necessary skills and expertise.

7. Quality Assurance:

- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to maintain project quality standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Insurance domain, with a focus on Open GI systems and ITSM.

- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus. (good to have)

- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and ITSM frameworks.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.

- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Skills:

• Project Manager with expertise in the Insurance domain, Open GI, and ITSM

• 5+ years of Insurance domain exp

• 5+ years of managing Open GI projects

• Experience with SAFe Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Good working knowledge of Azure DevOps boards

• Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance standards. (Must Have)

Familiarity with emerging technologies impacting the insurance sector.

• Solid organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently
