Senior DevOps

The DevOps role will be part of the scrum team, and responsible for encouraging everyone (developers, delivery managers, product managers) to think about how new applications will be run and maintained in these early stages of product development. They will be responsible for underpinning good development processes including managing tools and testing environments, central code control, maintaining development standards and writing software that automates systems.

Skills needed:

Continuous Integration e.g. Jenkins UrbanCode SonarQube Nexus; Containerisation e.g. Docker Kubernetes Source code management tools such as GitHub BitBucket RTC; Monitoring tools e.g. Nagios Zabbix; experience on the AWS cloud platform; Infrastructure as Code experience using tools such as Terraform Puppet Ansible Chef; System administration of Linux & Windows; Automation Testing tools e.g. Selenium JUnit; Coding & shell scripts using languages such as Bash Ruby YAML

Candidates must be SC Eligible and will need to obtain BPSS.
