SQL Server Data Analyst/DBA

Candidate must be UK citizen or hold a valid Visa to work in the UK ( no skilled workers )

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with Data Analyst abilities who can collaborate with Application teams to understand data mapping/ schema structures and do data cleansing in databases while maintaining data integrity and consistency. The role is at its core a SQL Server Developer/ Data Analyst where an understanding of basic Database Administration tasks is required as well.

The role can be based anywhere within the UK, is predominantly remote and may involve very occasional travel to a UK office if required.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years’ experience as SQL Server Database Administrator/ Application Developer/ Data Analyst.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Experience with basic Database Administration tasks
• Strong experience as a SQL Server Developer with proficiency in writing T-SQLs
• Experience in data cleaning, analysis, data base management and manipulation
• Experience with data mapping and data validation techniques
• Ability to trace data flow, touch points and resolve data related issues
• Experience with data transformation and processing
• Ability to ensure data integrity through demonstrated attention to detail and quality data input
• Proven experience in stored procedure development.
• Experience with SQL Server export/ import techniques
• Ability to work independently and as a team on multiple tasks and commitment to deadlines
• Knowledge of security principles and how they apply to applications
