We are looking for a Synergy Technical Consultant - SC Cleared with experience with Synergy design and implementation expertise. In this role you will:

Provide consulting expertise to work towards the Synergy and 3Par storage related aspects of the build and configuration of a purpose-built R&D platform, based on End-User provided requirements.

The platform will be based on a two data-centre representative development capability, using a standardised hardware and software system comprised of physical hardware / framework, 3Par Storage and SAN equipment and Cisco/Aruba network equipment. Design activities will precede the build. The build will be tested and build activities are to be documented to provide full build instructions and configuration settings, which is to be supplied on completion of the build.

-Conduct workshops and meetings

-Understand the environment the Synergy server/OneView environment will support, agree and document the requirements for the solution.

-Creation and documentation of detailed designs:-

- Microsoft Visio diagrams to show schematic overviews of the system

- Configuration outlines and associated parameters for the HPE Scope based upon HPE and industry best practices for:

- Synergy frames and modules

- OneView configuration / integration

- Reliability, stability, high-availability, etc., as appropriate

- Build and Test of the infrastructure

- Synergy frames, OneView configuration / integration

- Reliability, stability, high-availability etc.

- Documentation of the builds/configuration as it is carried out

Required Skills:

-Synergy design and implementation expertise.

-Experience of implementing Synergy.

-Implementing and integrating with Networks (LAN and WAN) in Synergy

-OneView Design and Implementation.

-OneView integration.

-Synergy to SAN integration

-Experience of implementing VMware (and Synergy based virtualisation infrastructures) and Windows infrastructures would be beneficial.

-Good documentation standards

-Expertise in creating build guides.

-Able to be self-sufficient on Customer site and work as part of a Customer-directed team
