System Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join the London offices in an Enterprise environment.

Skills:

Minimum 4 years experience as a Linux, Windows, VMWare and Solace systems engineer or equivalent DevOps role in an enterprise environment
Expert-level understanding of MS Windows server 2008 - 2019 , Linux RHEL 7.x and 8.0, Vsphere v6.x and 7.0, Solace PubSub+ and associated software

• Experience with HPE enterprise-class hardware (DL360 Gen9, Gen10)
• Experience with HPE c7000 blade chassis and Synergy frames hardware
• Experience with Dell R6xx rackmount servers
• Experience with SAN design and usage
• Experience with VMWare ESXi Server (vSphere) and Virtual Center (v6.x and 7.x)
• Experience with AWS EC2 images and Containers, Cloud Watch, Kubernetes, Route53, etc and/or Azure/GCP equivalent
• Experience with OS Deployment tools
• Experience with Orchestration tools
• Experience with automation pipelines, scripts and change processes
• Windows Terminal server and/or Citrix experience
• Active Directory design and administration
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux-based hardware platforms (e.g., IBM, HP, Dell)
  Thorough understanding of the following knowledge areas:
  o RAID storage
  o TCP/IP networking
  

Desirable:

• Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux-based scripting facilities
• Perl, C, PHP, VBScript, or Python development skills
• Experience with automation and orchestration specifically using RunDeck and HPE OneView/Image Streamer/Composer
• Experience in a market-data environment a plus
