Technical Consultant (Asset Management)

Duration : 12 months +

Clearance : UKIC DV Clearance

Ideally the candidate will have skills and experience with the following Micro Focus software (listed in order of preference):

The role will be responsible for:

Installation and configuration of a range of Micro Focus asset management tools and associated integrations.
Investigating, diagnosing and remediating complex technical issues.
Installing and updating integrations with connected 3rd party systems.
Producing and reviewing technical documentation.
Maintaining and updating design documentation to reflect changes.
Implementing software upgrades and new interfaces.
Communicating with Micro Focus Support and Product Development teams.
Working in an agile fashion whilst creating, maintaining and updating a backlog of work items.
Creation of test scripts for backlog items and unit testing completed work.
Regular reporting of progress to project leadership.

Person Profile

This role requires the candidate to be familiar with working autonomously alongside Customers and project partners, exercising own judgement as part of day to day working.
Able to demonstrate experience of troubleshooting and diagnosis of technical issues.
Able to demonstrate excellent team-working skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
Ability to work under pressure and make rational decisions considering relevant risks and taking responsibility for such decisions.
Specific knowledge of secure government operations and ways of working.
Background in Service Management Capabilities and experience of working with Service Management toolsets.
Experience of working with personnel in a cross-organisation environment is highly desirable.
