Test Engineer - eDV

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Test Engineer to provide consultancy and testing expertise for a variety of applications. In this role, you will work closely with clients in both the West and South regions, ensuring that testing strategies and solutions are effectively implemented. You will develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, automate testing suites, and perform various testing services to ensure the quality and performance of the applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Documentation: Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Scripts, Bug Reports, and Test Reports for new features, user stories, patching, and other projects.
• Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated regression test suites for applications.
• Performance Testing: Manage and improve performance testing capabilities for various applications using tools such as JMeter.
• Functional & Non-functional Testing: Perform functional and non-functional testing, including manual testing when automation isn't possible.
• Regression Suite Maintenance: Maintain the existing Automated Regression Test Suite, ensuring its continued use for future releases and patching events.
• Performance Suite Maintenance: Maintain the Performance Test Suite to support testing for future releases and patches.
• Accessibility Testing: Conduct accessibility testing using both manual and automated tools, such as Axe and Wave, for applications.
• Consultation on Best Practices: Provide input on best practices, continuous integration, non-functional testing, and operational acceptance testing for development and testing activities.
• Continuous Service Improvement (CSI): Support the continuous improvement of testing services.
• User Support: Provide technical support to the end user as requested.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on automated and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress and JMeter.
• Strong knowledge of functional, non-functional, and accessibility testing.
• Familiarity with accessibility tools like Axe and Wave.
• Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create comprehensive test plans and reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and consult on best practices.
