Description

We are looking for an experienced Web Content Publishing Analyst for its Global Web Content and Document Publishing team. This individual will join our team of publishers in Edinburgh and get along with business and technology employees across the organization, to ensure accurate, efficient publication of content and documents to the firm’s 150+ websites around the world.

The team

In our team we are responsible for day-to-day queue management and active monitoring of publishing activities to ensure compliance with company policies and standards, oversight of training programs for content authors and publishers, and identifying and leading opportunities for process improvement and automation through technology innovations, agile methodologies, etc.

Your role and impact

Critical criteria for success in this meaningful role include a background in financial services, excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience with managing stakeholders across a large variety of business and operations teams; outstanding organization and analysis skills; handling a high-volume queue of tasks and support requests; and a working familiarity with web publishing/CMS and document management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Publish documents, according to standard processes and procedures, including quality control
  • Meet client needs (content/document owners) and manage expectations within operational framework and standards
  • Publish marketing and informational copy, ensure it meets with the compliance standards
  • Monitor dashboards for publishing requests and complete work within SLAs
  • Publish content to global websites using CMS – TeamSite
  • Update websites on a regular basis, ensuring dates are accurate, the content is current and ensure deliverables meet business objectives
  • Stakeholder management, often across multiple geographies. Prompt and proactive communication with stakeholders via email/phone/IM on projects
  • Ability to cope with multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Participate in daily team stand ups; communicate status updates and issues
  • Participate in operational improvement initiatives
  • Ensure site meets accessibility standards and in-house usability standards

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience within financial services industry
